St John’s is located 10 minutes out of Albury, in the rural community of Jindera. Being located in Jindera gives your child the best of both worlds – space being in a small rural town, and some of the best facilities that you can find in any city school. At St John’s, we cater for children from three years old through to Year 6, with our Little Saint’s Preschool attached to the school. Our school is open to all families in the community. At St John’s, we are dedicated to inspiring future leaders, through innovative teaching practices, as well as state of the art facilities, from technology through to sporting. At St John’s, we recognise the diversity of learners, encouraging and developing respect for others, a love for discovery, and the desire to learn. Through Christian education your child is guided in all areas of their development. Your child will learn in a caring, supportive and positive environment, supported by Christian values and genuine care for their well-being.

St John’s has celebrated over 150 years of education.
The Lutheran pioneers of 1868 had just arrived in Jindera after an overland trek from South Australia, when they thought about the future of their children. Before building their own homes, they erected a log cabin classroom to act as their school. The school has remained a priority of the congregation at Jindera, operating continuously since its establishment in 1868.
Our future is built on the strength of our history.
