KINDER

YEAR 1

Year 1 Narrative Talk homeworkFriday 26th March

Please ask your child the following questions and talk about the possible answers. They can write down their ideas on the back of the paper if they wish. Children should try and use their imagination! Your discussion will help your child with writing about:

My Super Heroes saved the Day

Think about the setting (where did it take place?), the characters (who will be in your story?), the problem (What awful thing has happened?), the solution (How will the problem be solved?) and How will your story end?

How you can capture the reader’s attention?

What words best describe your characters?

What words will you use to describe how the characters are feeling?

What WOW words, power openers or connectives might be in your story?

Please spend 5-10 minutes talking about this. (No TV). We really appreciate your support.
