LEARNING COACH

We are excited to invite applications for a Learning Coach (Teacher Assistant) who can support students to achieve their goals.  

Our school is looking to employ a Learning Coach to work directly with a student requiring additional learning support. The successful candidate will have an understanding of students with disability, engage compassionately with students, and work in collaboration with parents and the Classroom Teacher.  

We are seeking someone who is motivated by placing student needs first, is committed to creating a positive culture at our school and has an ability to develop positive relationships in a Christian environment.

The role will be a part-time position (5 days, 31 hours per week) during term time for the remainder of the 2023 school year.    

Selection criteria:

Are you our next team member that will join an enthusiastic Learning Coach team, who understand the individual students with disability, and is committed to working in collaboration with parents and teaching staff?  

  • What relevant experience, skills, or interest do you have in relation to supporting children with disabilities or additional learning needs?
  • How will you be an asset to a professional learning community which values collaboration and innovation through a positive team environment?
  • What are your priorities and values when building relationships with students, families, and colleagues?
  • How will you display commitment to the aims and vision of St John’s Lutheran School, and positively contribute to our Christian environment?
